First off, I apologize for not posting in a month; I have recently graduated and have been actively finding work.
Also being a British Columbian I recently watched my BC team lose the cup to Boston :(
But Boston deserved it, they fought hard and they earned it! To celebrate they spent over $150000 dollars on booze, $100000 of that being on one bottle of champagne!

Beer Economics 4 - Pacific Pilsner
Pacific Pilsner is a beer for the great depression, it is cheap in every way. Their slogan is "Brewed with Natural Pure Spring Water" but it maybe if it was brewed with sea water it would taste better.
Company: Pacific Western Brewing Company
Quality: Very light and watered down. It has a really metallic After taste, maybe there is problem with the cans but without the aftertaste it is a very light tasting beer; it needs to be cold to get the best taste.
Why buy this?: No idea, it is favored among older gentlemen probably because of its price (about $1.20 a can). I haven't seen this in bottles but I would probably buy again just to try it to see if the weird aftertaste goes away. But overall I don't think hipsters touch this stuff.
Overall: I would avoid this if possible, there are other higher quality Economic beer to try than this. Unless you prefer your beer with ships!
Taste: 5/10
Drunkenness: 6/10 - I shotgunned two of these so it kicked in fast
Enjoyment: 4/10 - Didn't like, won't buy again.

Canadian Domestic - Molson Canadian
Molson Canadian is the epitome of Canadian domestic beers, even though I am Canadian but I have no bias for beers. Molson Canadian is delightfully average for all it's hype, it can almost be compared to Budwiser in the United States.
Molson Brewery was founded in 1768, it's flagship beer has almost been around for the same length. Funny enough in 2009 Molson Brewery bought the Montreal Canadians hockey team, so basically Molson Canadian is is intertwined in our country.
Overall the beer is classified as a pale lager, or in this case a "North American Lager" it is a sweet tasting beer with a really light and not too sharp carbonation, a sweet malty/corn taste and the after taste is pretty much the best part of the beer; the aftertaste is very floral and dry, overall it is a very refreshing beer.
The beer is the best domestic lager that you can buy, basically every Canadian who can't make up their mind for what beer they should get normally just grabs a case of Canadian!
Taste: 8.6/10
Drunkenness: 6/10 - It is not a very strong beer...
Enjoyment: 9/10 - Goes best with a Hamburger and Fries!

Beer Economics 3 - Labatt Wildcat
This is a Labatt cheap beer, It pours out a typical golden color with a very thin and quickly vanishing soapy head.
The aroma is a mix of musty dry corn with some slight sweet corn notes. At times the bitterness is accompanied with small sweet notes, but that could be my nose trying to find something that's not really there. The taste is all about the corn. Watery dry corn taste, again with some sweet notes.
If there was some sort of balance it would be okay, but it's like several different types of corn were thrown into a vat of dirty water. For such a light beer, it goes down pretty rough, too. A horrible budget beer. Moosehead's budget brands are a far better choice.
I kinda regret buying a 6 pack of this, I could of spent my 9 dollars on bottles of urine. It did get me buzzed pretty quickly though, it is 6% alcohol and is pretty much only good for one thing. Getting teenagers shit faced.
Taste: 3/10
Drunkenness: 5/10
Regret: 10/10 - I am not sure if this beer can be found in the states but I would avoid it if you can.

Beer Economics 2 - Molson Pilsner
Molson Pilsner = Canadian Flavored water.
Pairs nicely with greasy saucy foods and doesn't have much of a aftertaste.
I have become a bit of a snob with beer, but Pilsner used to be one of my favorites economic beers. Like Old Milwaukee it has a really pronounced carbonation bite with a strong hoppyness. It doesn't have much to smell but what it lacks in quality it makes up in price! In BC you can snag a 15 pack for $20 bucks and on a good day a 12 pack for $17 bucks!
It is a good cheap beer to pad a cooler with at a party and some have been known to be a huge fan of the 'Pilly' but if you want my opinion, if you have money avoid the white rabbit, and fork over another $5-$7 for some better quality domestic beer.
Score: Flavor 7/10 Drunkenness: 10/15 Enjoyment: 6/10
Final Score 7.6/15 - A "don't know what to choose at the liquor score" beer

Beer Economics 1: Old Milwaukee
"America’s Best Tasting Beer"
I'm not sure if all pre-1950's beer tasted like this but I think they need to change their slogan to
"America's Most Average Tasting Beer"
But if your strapped for cash and require a buzz after a long day at work, this beer will get you there without removing your stomach lining! The overall quality of Old Milwaukee is average to say the most, the flavor is nothing to brag about but it a nice flavorful light beer that somehow makes chicken fingers taste AMAZING!
I bought a 15 pack of OM for a party for 19 bucks here in Canada, and when I rolled up with with the red box with the pretty lady on it. It was greeted with half praise and a little bit of skepticism, of course the skeptics thought Stella-Artois was the best beer in the world... I don't hate this beer but I also don't prefer it, it has a "over-carbonated" feeling to it and is not good for chugging out of the can.
Overall: I poured it out into a wide mouth glass and sipped while eating my chicken tenders and actually enjoyed it. It wasn't too strong to over power the succulent chicken flavor and the wide mouth glass smoothed out the carbonation so I didn't feel gassy
Score: Flavor 5/10 Drunkenness: 10/15 Enjoyment: 6/10
Final Score 7/15 - A Good Standby if your playing beer pong, you wont be sad if you spill some.
